John Spitz, Jr.

Vice President of Products & Services for Claims & Payment Integrity and Prospective Advantage

 

Mr. Spitz serves as a Vice President of Products & Services at Inovalon. In this role Mr. Spitz holds the responsibility for the planning, design, strategy, maintenance, and success of the company’s Claims & Payment Integrity, Prospective Advantage, and related Products. Prior to his serving in the position of Vice President, Mr. Spitz held the role of Senior Director of Risk Adjustment Products where he was responsible for the design and oversight of the company’s prospective and retrospective risk adjustment solutions for Medicare and Medicaid.  This encompassed product design and development, product operations, sales support, predictive analytics & modeling, financial planning and analysis, and quantitative analytics.

Prior to joining Inovalon, Mr. Spitz worked for Constellation Energy, where he held a variety of leadership roles including Director of Commercial Analytics and Director of Finance & Operations IT.  In these roles Mr. Spitz worked within the commodity trading organization leading the departments responsible for the development and support of custom software solutions and the performance of data analytics for the trading, operations, and finance groups. Prior to joining Constellation Energy, Mr. Spitz held senior information technology positions spanning software development, enterprise integration and data analytics at Enron and American Management Systems.

Mr. Spitz received his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Delaware.  He has also earned the distinguished rank of Eagle Scout from the Boy Scouts of America.​​​​​​​
