Mr. Charron serves as the Chief Technology Officer for Inovalon. In this role, Mr. Charron is responsible for technology strategy, development, engineering, maintenance, infrastructure, corporate IT, security and operations of all technology for both internal operations and the platforms and services across the Company and its affiliates. With a career in technology that spans almost three decades, Mr. Charron has extensive experience in international software development, implementation, and support at very large scale, driving successful technology strategy, managing enterprise-wide teams, and orchestrating complex system engineering and operations across multiple continents, a wide array of varying platform architectures, and rapidly evolving system environment capabilities and standards.
Mr. Charron joined Inovalon in April of 2018 through the Company’s acquisition of ABILITY Network where he was responsible for ABILITY’s design, engineering, development, and operation of the company’s cloud-based provider-focused software platform. During his tenure with Inovalon and ABILITY, Geoff has consistently demonstrated the ability to bring together people, processes, and technology to achieve key goals in the organizations’ technology functionality, reliability, efficiency, process alignment, and best practices approaches. Prior to joining ABILITY in 2014, from 2005 through 2014 Mr. Charron served in a number of expanding technology leadership roles, including EVP of Software Engineering for EiQ Networks, VP of Software Engineering for BeyondTrust, VP of Software Engineering for CA Technologies, and VP of Software Engineering for BEA Systems (acquired by Oracle).
Mr. Charron holds a bachelor’s degree in manufacturing systems engineering and a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Massachusetts.
