Scott Bilder, PhD
Senior Manager, Research Science and Advanced Analytics
Scott is involved in the conceptualization, execution, and delivery of comparative effectiveness, HEOR, performance improvement, and risk adjustment studies that drive opportunity identification and value creation for a diverse array of clients, including health plans, provider networks, patient advocacy groups, and medical societies.
Scott’s experience and interests comprise health services and outcomes research, pharmacoepidemiology, healthcare quality measurement and improvement efforts, and psychometrics in a wide variety of populations, with a particular focus on publicly and privately insured youth and elderly patients.
Before joining Inovalon, Scott was an associate data science and advanced analytics director with IQVIA. Prior to that, he headed the analytic team at the Rutgers University Center for Health Services Research on Pharmacotherapy, Chronic Disease Management, and Outcomes. While at Rutgers he also taught statistics, research design, statistical programming, and psychometric theory and worked as a statistical consultant. In between roles at Rutgers he was a market research and modeling manager at Lucent technologies. Scott holds an AB in psychology from Albright College, an MS in social psychology, and a PhD in educational statistics and measurement (applied statistics and psychometrics) from Rutgers University.
