Entry Level Sales Representative

LOCATION: Remote
<p style="margin: 0px;"><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">The Marketing Development Representative (MDR) is responsible for prospecting, qualifying and generating new sales leads to support the Sales Team.&nbsp; This individual will be a highly motivated, self-starter able to identify and develop new business prospects from multiple sources, including inbound marketing leads and prospect lists. </span><span style="font-size: 10.0pt; color: black;">&nbsp;In addition, this position provides a development opportunity for a successful MDR with the aspiration to move into a sales position within ABILITY.</span></span></p> <p style="margin: 0px;">&nbsp;</p> <p style="margin: 0px;"><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva;">Responsibilities:&nbsp;</span></p> <ul> <li><span style="font-size: 10.0pt;">Initiate outbound prospecting, qualifying, and contact verification for ABILITY services</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10.0pt;">Develop new business via telephone and email to introduce ABILITY services to prospect and existing customers</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10.0pt;">Identify appropriate buyers within the target market</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10.0pt;">Provide feedback to help identify prospects’ pain points to help determine how the ABILITY solution will simplify administrative processes</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10.0pt;">Build and cultivate prospect relationships by initiating communications and follow-up communications</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10.0pt;">Consistently meets and exceeds dials, talk time and marketing qualified leads created</span></li> <li style="margin-bottom: .0001pt;"><span style="font-size: 10.0pt;">Actively contributes in weekly meetings by providing ideas and suggestions to the team</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10.0pt;">Utilize Salesforce.com for contact management, opportunity tracking, sales pipeline management </span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10.0pt;">Use Customer Centric™ sales techniques, process, and pipeline milestones to manage sales</span></li> <li style="margin-bottom: .0001pt;"><span style="font-size: 10.0pt;">Complete product certification for ABILITY applications as it relates to the healthcare market segment assigned</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10.0pt;">Other duties as requested and/or determined</span></li> </ul> <ul> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Maintain compliance with Inovalon’s policies, procedures and mission statement;</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Adhere to all confidentiality and HIPAA requirements as outlined within Inovalon’s Operating Policies and Procedures in all ways and at all times with respect to any aspect of the data handled or services rendered in the undertaking of the position;</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Fulfill those responsibilities and/or duties that may be reasonably provided by Inovalon for the purpose of achieving operational and financial success of the Company;</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Uphold responsibilities relative to the separation of duties for applicable processes and procedures within your job function; and &nbsp;&nbsp;</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">We reserve the right to change this job description from time to time as business needs dictate and will provide notice of</span></li> </ul> <p>Qualifications:&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li><span style="font-size: 10.0pt;">Bachelor's degree or equivalent and/or 1 year of business experience preferred</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10.0pt;">Excellent verbal and written communication skills</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10.0pt;">Strong phone and analytical skills </span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10.0pt;">Ability to set and manage multiple priorities</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10.0pt;">Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10.0pt;">Proficiency with MS Office suite and other software applications</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10.0pt;">Ability to build team unity, working with a cross-functional and diverse groups</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10.0pt;">Ability to work in a fast paced environment</span></li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion"><p><em>By embracing diversity, equity and inclusion we enhance our work environment and drive business success.
