AVP, Field Operations

<p>The Associate Vice President, Field Operations is responsible for the leadership and strategic direction of the Clinical Field Team and associated supporting functions. This position will&nbsp;work to&nbsp;define policies and procedures for all clinical Field operations to execute and deliver our supplemental medical encounter (SME) business objectives, while maximizing the Total Customer Experience. This position will take the lead on building and maintaining our multistate Medicaid and lab services capabilities, managing the relationship with our Physician owner Professional Corporations, scaling the field teams to meet both the operational and financial business objectives through the development and execution of strategic partnerships and deliver and improve clinical quality and compliance objectives.&nbsp;</p> <h4>Responsibilities</h4> <ul> <li>Develop and maintain an expert level of knowledge regarding products, services, capabilities, infrastructure, and operations of Employer and its affiliates, the marketplace, competition, strategic positioning, threats and direction to achieve optimal insight and success with respect to Employer’s (and those of its affiliates) products, services, capabilities, support, functionality requirements, and financial performance</li> <li>Lead, drive, and ultimately be responsible for planning, implementation, execution, and successful achievement of the operations necessary for the delivery of field based intervention services, in such a fashion as to achieve and maintain necessary service delivery standards, regulatory, corporate policy, quality, accreditation, delegation and contractual compliance and financial performance result of the operations, to include: <ul> <li>Applies expert knowledge of clinical services to deliver in home and virtual health visit assessments while ensuring quality and compliance to both healthcare and Inovalon policy and security guidelines</li> <li>Responsible for driving execution of the Company’s quarterly and annual financial targets and Growth Initiatives as they relate to the Field Operations</li> <li>Lead and be ultimately accountable for all tracking and reporting pertaining to the operations noted above and/or other aspects of the Payer Business Unit/ CDS operation as defined</li> <li>Leads and develops clinical management and supporting teams to support business growth and create circles of excellence within the business areas he/ she is responsible for</li> <li>Provides interface and support with other corporate departments and external customers i.e., clinical, product, customer success, human resource, IT, patients, clients etc. to accomplish organizational objectives and ensure successful, operational implementations</li> <li>Drive organization towards metrics and revenue goals, with the objective to exceed business expectations</li> <li>Select and develop strong people leaders in leadership positions down to line level supervisors</li> <li>Prepares executive level reporting to support leadership decisions</li> <li>Identifies key issues, gaps or problems and owns resolution, continuously improves the operation from both quality and cost perspectives</li> <li>Responsible for all activities related to strategy and execution of telehealth initiatives at Inovalon</li> <li>Provides direction and leadership to a team of professionals to ensure Inovalon’s telehealth strategy is aligned to goals and objectives established by senior management and is well integrated with telehealth initiatives across Inovalon</li> </ul> </li> <li>Maintain compliance with Inovalon’s policies, procedures and mission statement</li> <li>Adhere to all confidentiality and HIPAA requirements as outlined within Inovalon’s Operating Policies and Procedures in all ways and at all times with respect to any aspect of the data handled or services rendered in the undertaking of the position</li> <li>Fulfill those responsibilities and/or duties that may be reasonably provided by Inovalon for the purpose of achieving operational and financial success of the Employer</li> </ul> <h4>Qualifications</h4> <p>Job Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Minimum 10 years prior operational experience, preferably in a healthcare setting</li> <li>Previous management experience and the responsibility of over 5 direct manager reports and 1000+ indirect reports&nbsp; &nbsp;</li> <li>Experience building multistate Medicaid delivery operations</li> <li>Experience building and leading multi-state field populations, preferably for a healthcare organization</li> <li>Proven ability to communicate at the client and executive level and present to senior and executive management</li> <li>Professionally skilled in personal presentation, verbal, and written communication</li> <li>Strong understanding of HIPAA requirements</li> <li>Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e., Excel, Visio, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.), call center applications, training and quality applications, workforce management applications, quality tools and technologies and other related call center software</li> <li>Data-oriented with the ability to assess, plan and implement changes</li> <li>Experience running an in-home assessment services operation on a multi-state basis for a healthcare organization is strongly preferred</li> </ul> <p>Education</p> <ul> <li>BA/BS degree or equivalent experience required</li> </ul> <p>Physical Demands and Work Environment</p> <ul> <li>Sedentary work (i.e., sitting for long periods of time)</li> <li>Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force</li> <li>Frequently or constantly to lift, carry push, pull or otherwise move objects and repetitive motions</li> <li>Subject to inside environmental conditions</li> <li>Travel for this position will include less than 5% locally usually for training purposes</li> </ul> <p><em>Inovalon provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment.
