<p>The Associate Quality Assurance Analyst (this is an entry level role) works as a member of the Core Regression team to test products and components that are delivered defect free within committed timeframe and scope. This role is responsible for project-based work for quality assurance for products. The Associate QA Engineer will write and execute test cases. As an associate, expect to learn various aspects of enterprise software quality assurance practices.</p> <h4>Responsibilities</h4> <ul> <li>Responsible for quality assurance of products components</li> <li>Write test plans, test cases, execute test cases and report results</li> <li>Design, implement and execute manual/ automated test cases</li> <li>Evaluate and test new or modified features or the product, including documentation, diagram, and flow chart, to determine if functionality will perform according to the provided acceptance criteria and conform to guidelines</li> <li>Identify, analyze, and document problems with program function, output, online screen, or content</li> <li>Plan and execute test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates</li> <li>Document software defects, using a bug tracking system, and report defects to software developers and Product Owner</li> <li>Monitor bug resolution and track open issues and successes</li> <li>Review software documentation to ensure technical accuracy, compliance, or completeness, or to mitigate risks</li> <li>Maintain compliance with Inovalon’s policies, procedures and mission statement</li> <li>Adhere to all confidentiality and HIPAA requirements as outlined within Inovalon’s Operating Policies and Procedures in all ways and at all times with respect to any aspect of the data handled or services rendered in the undertaking of the position</li> <li>Fulfill those responsibilities and/or duties that may be reasonably provided by Inovalon for the purpose of achieving operational and financial success of the Employer</li> <li>Uphold responsibilities relative to the separation of duties for applicable processes and procedures within your job function</li> </ul> <p>We reserve the right to change this job description from time to time as business needs dictate and will provide notice of such</p> <h4>Qualifications</h4> <p>Job Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of 1 year of commercial software quality assurance experience required</li> <li>Pharmacy experience highly preferred&nbsp;</li> <li>Experience with claims processing, claims testing highly preferred&nbsp;</li> <li>Ability to analyze workflows, processes, supporting systems and procedures and identifying improvements</li> <li>Knowledge of the principles, practices and procedures of quality assurance testing and the ability to apply knowledge and skills to a range of professional assignments including the most difficult and complex</li> <li>Experience with: Test tools: SOAP UI, Postman.&nbsp; Bugs tracking system:&nbsp; TFS, VSTS, Jira</li> <li>Experience with Windows Operating Systems</li> <li>Ability to work on multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities</li> <li>Statistical analysis of test results</li> <li>Ability to design, write, test and document efficient testing solutions to meet customer needs</li> <li>Ability to work with minimal supervision and demonstrate initiative and good judgment</li> <li>Excellent verbal and written communications skills</li> <li>Excellent time management skills</li> <li>Self-motivated with strong organizational/prioritization skills</li> <li>Ability to multi-task with close attention to detail</li> <li>Proven ability to work effectively under pressure &amp; meet deadlines</li> </ul> <p>Education</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree or relevant experience in Healthcare/ Pharmacy</li> </ul> <p>Physical Demands and Work Environment</p> <ul> <li>Sedentary work (i.e., sitting for long periods of time)</li> <li>Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force</li> <li>Frequently or constantly to lift, carry push, pull or otherwise move objects and repetitive motions</li> <li>Subject to inside environmental conditions</li> <li>Travel for this position will include less than 5% locally usually for training purposes</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><em>This role is not available for sponsorship at this time.</em></strong></p> <p><em>Inovalon provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment.
