Leadership Development Trainer

LOCATION: Nashville, Tennessee
<p>The Leadership Development Trainer is directly responsible to institute best practices related to leadership development, coaching, and professional development.</p> <p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Design, develop, and facilitate leadership development training and workshop sessions;</li> <li>Work with management team on an ongoing basis to assess development needs and create curriculum to support those needs;</li> <li>Develop and implement a formal coaching program for front-line leaders to drive a more consistent approach with performance management, handling of difficult conversations, and professional development;</li> <li>Develop methods of measuring manager performance, potential, and development needs that align with organizational goals;</li> <li>Develop and implement a mentoring program for aspiring leaders;</li> <li>Serves as an active member of the training team and demonstrates a willingness to assist where necessary;</li> <li>Maintain compliance with Inovalon’s policies, procedures and mission statement;</li> <li>Adhere to all confidentiality and HIPAA requirements as outlined within Inovalon’s Operating Policies and Procedures in all ways and at all times with respect to any aspect of the data handled or services rendered in the undertaking of the position; and</li> <li>Fulfill those responsibilities and/or duties that may be reasonably provided by Inovalon for the purpose of achieving operational and financial success of the Employer.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Job Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Minimum of 5 years of experience in adult learning theory, learning delivery models inclusive of discovery, design, implementation;</li> <li>Experience in building learning solutions that can scale to large, diverse audiences;</li> <li>Project management experience preferred;</li> <li>Competence with using data to inform solutions;</li> <li>Skilled at building relationships at all organizational levels;</li> <li>Ability to independently prioritize workload and manage multiple projects at once;</li> <li>Exceptional problem solving, analytical, interpersonal and communication skills to resolve issues; and</li> <li>Professionally skilled in presentation, verbal and written communication.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Education:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree is required; and</li> <li>Master’s degree or equivalent preferred.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Physical Demands and Work Environment:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Sedentary work (i.e. sitting for long periods of time);</li> <li>Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force;</li> <li>Frequently or constantly to lift, carry push, pull or otherwise move objects and repetitive motions;</li> <li>Subject to inside environmental conditions; and</li> <li>Limited travel is required for this position.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p><div class="content-conclusion"><p><em>The Company maintains a drug free work environment for all of its associates, which includes employees, contractors and vendors.
