Marketing and Events Manager

<p>The Marketing and Events Manager will be responsible for all aspects of events management. This includes demonstrated successful marketing techniques, both pre- and post-conference; event analytics; post conference follow-up; logistics; event management company liaison and flawless event strategy execution.&nbsp; Additionally, this role is responsible for the management of all industry trade association relationships, speaking opportunities, contractual requirements, and overall relationship management. This role supports the SVP, Corporate Marketing in fulfilling the marketing objectives&nbsp;of our Payer, Life Sciences and Pharmacy industry conferences and corporate events.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Collaborate with the SVP on the identification and effective management of an aggressive industry conference event schedule – averaging over 25 events in a year.&nbsp; This includes the evaluation of speaking opportunities, brand exposure and lead generation potential to inform event strategy and investment based on established goals;</li> <li>Responsible for marketing program development surrounding external events including pre and post – conference efforts such as internal stakeholder engagement, identification of appropriate representation, engagement and conference related mailings, promotional giveaways, advertising, signage, etc.; post event – lead management with the Sales Operations team. &nbsp;This position is the “go-to” person for all questions related to external events;</li> <li>Deliver analytics to measure and evaluate event ROI and effectiveness. In addition, the position is responsible for budget management, lead generation, target markets impacted and audience for supported solutions to inform the viability of these venues as viable marketing channels for future investment;</li> <li>Act as the Company liaison in fostering relationships with vendors, organizers, and clients at onsite events. Travel to locations other than primary office in support of event participation and alliance development;</li> <li>Competitive intelligence: Identify competitor's strengths and weaknesses in market segments and assist in defining target markets;</li> <li>Manage itineraries and schedules for speakers and conference attendees and communicate important conference information prior to the event and onsite;</li> <li>On24 Webcasting Platform Management: Serve as an in-house resource for all things ON24 to help manage and execute flawless webcasted events;</li> <li>Manage industry trade association engagement. Working across the business unit, oversee contractual arrangements, identify speaking opportunities, billing, online listings, brand awareness and ROI measurement to inform future strategic investments/expansion of these relationships.&nbsp; (CHIDS, eHI, NCQA, AHIP, etc.);</li> <li>Facilitate and communicate venue negotiations in conjunction with legal; manage contract negotiations;</li> <li>Maintain compliance with Inovalon’s policies, procedures and mission statement;</li> <li>Adhere to all confidentiality and HIPAA requirements as outlined within Inovalon’s Operating Policies and Procedures in all ways and at all times with respect to any aspect of the data handled or services rendered in the undertaking of the position; and</li> <li>Fulfill those responsibilities and/or duties that may be reasonably provided by Inovalon for the purpose of achieving operational and financial success of the Employer.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Job Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>High-energy, attention to detail, multi-tasking, and can-do attitude required;</li> <li>Broad knowledge of marketing techniques and concepts;</li> <li>Able to perform under pressure and manage multiple competing deadlines;</li> <li>Persuasive and diplomatic with the ability to think creatively; and</li> <li>Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint required - basic knowledge of Salesforce recommended.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Education:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field or equivalent work experience.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Physical Demands and Work Environment:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Sedentary work (i.e., sitting for long periods of time);</li> <li>Exerting up to 30-50 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force;</li> <li>Frequently or constantly to lift, carry push, pull or otherwise move objects and repetitive motions;</li> <li>Subject to inside environmental conditions; and</li> <li>Travel for this position will vary, up to 25%, for nationwide external events.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p><div class="content-conclusion"><p><em>By embracing diversity, equity and inclusion we enhance our work environment and drive business success.
