This team of experts works to enable next-generation healthcare delivery through quality, innovation, and payment reform. We work with every sector of the healthcare industry to help them prepare for – and succeed in – the evolving payment and delivery environment. This role will specifically focus on anticipating needs of our health plan and provider clients and identifying optimal solutions for care delivery. This role will be client facing and include opportunities for project management and execution. Candidates should have a demonstrated ability both to secure funding for new consulting engagements and execute on it.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Serve as a subject matter expert and support projects related to health plan operations, care delivery, alternative payment models and healthcare innovation</li> <li>Support and assist in managing project teams to solve complex client problems and engage clients with novel solutions and ideas</li> <li>Work with a portfolio of clients to identify and deliver on business opportunities and projects that dovetail with Avalere’s expertise and offerings</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Generate business with new clients and grow business with existing clients; create both strategic and tactical recommendations for clients depending on their business needs</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Manage short- and long-term deliverables, to ensure Avalere’s knowledge and expertise are leveraged to meet client needs</li> <li>Create strategic and tactical recommendations to ensure optimal positioning for client products</li> <li>Solve complex client issues in a timely and appropriate manner with attention to resources and minimal management oversight</li> <li>Conceptualize, design, and execute—from start to finish—a broad range of client projects involving diverse, cross-functional, cross-practice teams</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Skills, Experience, and Other Job-Related Requirements</strong>:</p> <p><em>&nbsp;</em></p> <p><em>Skill Requirements:</em></p> <p><em>&nbsp;</em></p> <ul> <li>Knowledge of business issues impacting health plans and providers, with a focus on health plan strategy and operations, as well as payment and delivery innovation</li> <li>Understanding of healthcare industry</li> <li>Strong project management skills</li> <li>Produce high quality work product</li> <li>Fast learner, ability to work under pressure with quick timelines</li> <li>Ability to lead and manage project teams</li> <li>Consulting experience preferred</li> <li>Ability to support 5-6 projects and effectively manage individual project tasks with a high level of quality</li> <li>Excellent written/verbal communications skills with demonstrated ability to translate challenging concepts to a wide range of audiences</li> <li>Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills</li> <li>Must be organized, self-motivated and able to multitask in a fast paced and dynamic work environment</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to excel independently and as a team member in a collaborative environment</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><em>Education Requirements</em></p> <ul> <li>An undergraduate or graduate degree in public policy, health services, business administration, statistics, economics, law, or other related fields</li> </ul> <p><em>&nbsp;</em></p> <p><em>Experience Requirements</em></p> <ul> <li>3–5 years of relevant full-time work experience</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p><div class="content-conclusion"><p><em>By embracing diversity, equity and inclusion we enhance our work environment and drive business success.
