Sales Analysis Manager

LOCATION: Minneapolis, MN
<p>The Manager, Sales Analysis is responsible for analysis and delivering accurate reports and dashboards and reports to the VP, Sales Operations. This position will develop executive level analysis and reporting, all product analysis, pricing strategy development and rollout to the sales team. Perform complex (ad-hoc) analysis to determine outliers, areas of efficiency and sales targeting. Participate in cross-functional teams in problem solving tasks. This position will collaborate with numerous internal teams and should have an understanding of the Sales Department’s role within the greater organization and how the sales process and cycle flows into other areas of the company, such as Customer Operations, Marketing, Finance, and Accounting.</p> <p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Utilize and develop metrics, templates and processes for reporting related to booking/sales performance, quota and sales capacity management, sales productivity, customer implementation timelines, customer satisfaction, client business value driven and a number of other operations and sales related metrics;</li> <li>Interpret operations and sales data, provide recommendations and develop dashboards and reporting at a summary level with detailed supporting documentation to the Sales Department and Leadership team;</li> <li>Provide input into pricing models for current products, new sales methodologies or new products and services using data and analysis to determine the elasticity of the market and internal customer base;</li> <li>Work closely with accounting on invoice reconciliation, tracking and price change activities;</li> <li>Drive consistency, accuracy and timeliness of sales activities and results through process management and discipline;</li> <li>Contribute to sales meetings, team meetings, and training courses;</li> <li>Develop dashboards and metrics creation/analysis for review with sales team;</li> <li>Other duties as requested and/or determined;</li> <li>Maintain compliance with Inovalon’s policies, procedures and mission statement;</li> <li>Adhere to all confidentiality and HIPAA requirements as outlined within Inovalon’s Operating Policies and Procedures in all ways and at all times with respect to any aspect of the data handled or services rendered in the undertaking of the position; and</li> <li>Fulfill those responsibilities and/or duties that may be reasonably provided by Inovalon for the purpose of achieving operational and financial success of the Employer.</li> </ul> <p><strong>&nbsp;</strong><strong>Job Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Minimum 5 years of experience in Data, Financial or Sales Analysis with experience in pricing strategies;</li> <li>Strong planning and organizational skills;</li> <li>Strong interpersonal skills in order to facilitate clear communications of results within the sales organization;</li> <li>Expertise in business reporting tools such as Excel or Business Intelligence Tools, as well as experience using PowerPoint and Word;</li> <li>Experience with design, capabilities and report/dashboard functionality;</li> <li>Strong analytical experience, reporting, documentation, and problem solving skills;</li> <li>Strong verbal and written communication skills; and</li> <li>Independent worker, adaptable and a strong team player.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Education:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Business or equivalent background and experience required.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Physical Demands and Work Environment:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Sedentary work ( i.e. sitting for long periods of time);</li> <li>Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force;</li> <li>Frequently or constantly to lift, carry push, pull or otherwise move objects and repetitive motions;</li> <li>Subject to inside environmental conditions; and</li> <li>Travel for this position will include less than 5% locally usually for training purposes.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p><div class="content-conclusion"><p><em>By embracing diversity, equity and inclusion we enhance our work environment and drive business success.
