Inovalon's unique achievement of value is delivered through the effective progression of Turning Data into Insight, and Insight into Action.<br><br>Inovalon Inc., seeks Systems Engineers for Multiple Openings</p> <p><strong>Summary of Duties</strong>:</p> <p>Design, build, and maintain the software, hardware, network, and computing technologies that power Inovalon’s products and services by using architectural, system design, and automation knowledge, tools, and methodologies. Find, evaluate, correlate, resolve, prevent, and own complex software and network system problems from incident to resolution, and implement solutions to keep the business moving while driving root cause analysis to ensure problems do not resurface. Install software systems and monitor ongoing functioning to ensure system operates in conformance with specifications. Gather and leverage metric data to prevent and uncover problems in the server fleet before they emerge and store, retrieve, and manipulate data for analysis of system capabilities and requirements. Analyze information to determine, recommend, and plan installation of a new system or modification of an existing system and use while building tools to deploy and manage Inovalon s rapidly expanding infrastructure. Confer with data processing or project managers to obtain information on limitations or capabilities for data processing projects. Perform scheduled and ad hoc system maintenance on Inovalon infrastructure. Develop and execute solutions to complex problems backed by thorough testing and engineering analysis. Engage and service internal customers via Remedy incident management ticketing system, including maintaining adequate availability for participation in the departmental on-call rotation.</p> <p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p> <p>Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field of study plus at least 3 years of experience in the job offered or at least 3 years of experience in an IT-related role. In lieu of the Bachelor of Science degree plus at least 3 years of experience, employer will accept a Master of Science degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field of study, plus at least 2 years of experience in the job offered or at least 2 years of experience in an IT-related role. All applicants must have at least 3 years of experience (2 years if in possession of a relevant Master’s degree) deploying and troubleshooting Windows Server, computing platforms, and visualization, distribution, and high availability. All applicants must have experience with: (1) Active Directory administration, structure, permissions, and best practices; (2) Shavlik, WSUS, or vCenter Protect; (3) at least one Non-Windows OS area (e.g., VMWare, SQL, Hadoop, AWS, Azure, Scripting, Linux, IIS, and application development); (4) departmental on-call rotation; (5) scheduled and ad hoc system maintenance; and (6) Basic host level network troubleshooting.
