If this sounds like the kind of company you’d like to work with, we’d love to meet with you!</p> <h4>Here’s what an ordinary day of work might look like</h4> <ul> <li>You maintain a firm understanding of the product’s vision to ensure both business and functional goals are met. This includes the product features and to what extent the functionality of each feature should be developed at each milestone</li> <li>You work with product sponsor and stakeholders to define a clear product vision, market strategy, and target audience</li> <li>You lead product discovery activities: story mapping, defining user personas, etc.</li> <li>You work with sponsors, stakeholders, and customers to create the product backlog and define milestone releases</li> <li>You prioritize and maintain the product backlog as circumstances, priorities, and requirements change</li> <li>You represent the product vision to stakeholders and the development team</li> <li>You work closely with and be available to the development team to answer any questions and clarify details and acceptance criteria as they work to develop the product</li> <li>You manage stakeholder requests and communicate changes in direction, approach, or delivery dates. You ensure stakeholders are present to get feedback early and often</li> <li>You accept or reject work results from the development team</li> <li>You engage customers or users throughout the project, requesting feedback and adapting. Be passionate about the user experience</li> <li>You facilitate and encourage the team’s creativity and innovation to find the best solutions</li> <li>You brainstorm market opportunities to further monetize the product</li> <li>You assist in the marketing strategy for the product</li> <li>You create documentation as needed for the product</li> <li>You maintain compliance with Inovalon’s policies, procedures and mission statement</li> <li>You adhere to all confidentiality and HIPAA requirements as outlined within Inovalon’s Operating Policies and Procedures in all ways and at all times with respect to any aspect of the data handled or services rendered in the undertaking of the position</li> <li>You fulfill those responsibilities and/or duties that may be reasonably provided by Inovalon for the purpose of achieving operational and financial success of the Company</li> <li>You uphold responsibilities relative to the separation of duties for applicable processes and procedures within your job function</li> </ul> <p>We reserve the right to change this job description from time to time as business needs dictate and will provide notice of such</p> <h4>This job is for you if</h4> <ul> <li>You have earned a bachelor’s degree or, preferably, a master’s degree in Healthcare, Business, or IT</li> <li>You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a healthcare/specialty pharmacy related environment</li> <li>People say you have excellent visual and verbal communication skills</li> <li>You can influence others to follow your direction</li> <li>You can negotiate conflicting priorities with clients, users, stakeholders, the product sponsor, and the development team</li> <li>You are self-managed and self-directed and possess the discipline to keep work prepped for the development team while handling various other responsibilities</li> <li>You can listen and synthesize information in order to make decisions that impact return on investment (ROI)</li> <li>People regard you as possessing user empathy</li> <li>You have flexibility to adjust product features and their priority in an emergent environment</li> <li>You can maintain stable performance in light of tension or disagreement</li> <li>You, preferably, have experience in an Agile development process</li> <li>You are comfortable with sedentary work</li> <li>You can exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally or negligible amount of force</li> <li>You can frequently or constantly lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects</li> <li>You are comfortable with inside environmental conditions</li> <li>You can travel for this position</li> </ul> <p><em>Inovalon is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and is an affirmative action employer.
