Activation Specialist (Healthcare Software)

<p>The Activation Specialist is responsible for customer user adoption and the realization of ACV potential through data discovery, project management, and implementation resourcing.</p> <h4>Responsibilities</h4> <ul> <li>Measure and drive estimated revenue volumes for new and existing customers. This includes, but is not limited to, monitoring weekly onboarding and revenue reports, and designing new tools to measure success and product opportunities</li> <li>Increase total ACV onboarding and revenue for SECUREPAY and Patient Statements</li> <li>Foster relationships with ABILITY partners and stakeholders to improve efficiency of implementation for customers and ABILITY implementation specialists</li> <li>Provide project management support to patient payment product onboarding through collaboration with Implementation Specialists</li> <li>Work as a strategic business partner to help customer achieve their business outcomes through anticipating questions and effectively addressing the needs of all customer end-user groups</li> <li>Partner with the customer to execute their training in a way that fits their culture or needs</li> <li>Coordinate development of education materials for new technology functionality, both customer-facing and internally</li> <li>Ensure iterative release of technology is supported by user acceptance testing and user education</li> <li>Establish and maintain various customer facing workflow and diagrams to ensure customer education objectives are met. This is done through collaborations with the ABILITY Training team</li> <li>Responsible for training new implementation specialists on product and also assist with implementation monitoring &amp; coaching as assigned by supervisor</li> <li>Work with engineering to enhance implementation tools such as the Secure Application System and SCOREBOARD to streamline the onboarding process for customers and implementation specialists</li> <li>Responsible for accurately documenting customer user and stakeholder requirements and objectives, and working closely with development and configuration teams to deliver value through ABILITY solutions</li> <li>Bridge the gap between customer users and ABILITY technical teams by promptly communicating and escalating reported issues</li> <li>Fully engage with ABILITY Product Owner and agile teams, assist product Business Analyst in writing stories as directed, adding details for estimation, and participating in ongoing improvement through retrospectives</li> <li>Participate in future product releases by representing implementation on product release calls, testing software, and facilitating new product announcements and education for implementation specialists</li> <li>Ability to present to peers and senior management with clarity and brevity</li> <li>Ability to explain the importance of data security and regulations</li> <li>Be highly organized and able to work independently to support the long-term vision and strategy for ABILITY products</li> <li>Maintain compliance with Inovalon’s policies, procedures and mission statement</li> <li>Adhere to all confidentiality and HIPAA requirements as outlined within Inovalon’s Operating Policies and Procedures in all ways and at all times with respect to any aspect of the data handled or services rendered in the undertaking of the position</li> <li>Fulfill those responsibilities and/or duties that may be reasonably provided by Inovalon for the purpose of achieving operational and financial success of the Company</li> <li>Uphold responsibilities relative to the separation of duties for applicable processes and procedures within your job function</li> </ul> <h4>Qualifications</h4> <p>Minimum Requirements</p> <ul> <li>5 + years equivalent Business Experience</li> <li>Experience with using Microsoft Office suite (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook)</li> <li>Experience with using and supporting Software as a Service (SaaS)</li> <li>Excellent verbal and written customer service skillset</li> <li>Strong organizational skills with close attention to detail</li> <li>Ability to work efficiently in a fast–paced environment</li> <li>Ability to work independently, assisting others as needed</li> <li>A strong team player with the ability to interact effectively with all parts of the organization</li> <li>Knowledge of healthcare industry</li> <li>Excellent analytical and critical-thinking skills</li> <li>Excellent time management skills</li> <li>Ability to facilitate communication with various parties and effectively problem solve</li> </ul> <p>Preferred Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree</li> <li>Working with Merchant Account vendors/Banking Institutions&nbsp;</li> <li>Project management experience&nbsp;</li> <li>HIPAA transaction code set knowledge&nbsp;</li> <li>Proficient in working with Salesforce.com&nbsp;</li> <li>Bi-lingual, Spanish</li> </ul> <p>Travel: Less than 10%</p> <p><em>Inovalon provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment.
