Associate Data Governance Analyst

LOCATION: Minneapolis, MN
<p>The Associate Data Governance Analyst is a member of the Data Governance Team within Finance. The primary responsibility of this job is to ensure departments are interacting with accurate, complete, and meaningful data. To achieve this outcome, this role will be supporting Data Governance Analyst and Manager while they work with multiple business units to understand how our data is captured and processed. They are also responsible for analyzing and researching Salesforce data.</p> <p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Research company contracts and product usage to determine those in an overage status and preparing documents for billing;</li> <li>Supporting business processes related to the monthly transaction overage billings;</li> <li>Assist in reviewing, identifying, and fixing complex data errors;</li> <li>Provide clarity to field values, calculations, and reporting to improve internal understanding and enhance customer interaction;</li> <li>Gain knowledge of our end-to-end ecosystem design, aligning with best practice and improved interaction with other key systems;</li> <li>Maintain compliance with Inovalon’s policies, procedures and mission statement;</li> <li>Adhere to all confidentiality and HIPAA requirements as outlined within Inovalon’s Operating Policies and Procedures in all ways and at all times with respect to any aspect of the data handled or services rendered in the undertaking of the position; and</li> <li>Fulfill those responsibilities and/or duties that may be reasonably provided by Inovalon for the purpose of achieving operational and financial success of the Employer.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Job Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Minimum of 1 year of related experience;</li> <li>Strong knowledge in Microsoft Excel;</li> <li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills;</li> <li>Proven ability to work effectively under pressure &amp; meet deadlines;</li> <li>Excellent time management skills;</li> <li>Ability to work in a team environment;</li> <li>Strong ability to research complex systems and data sets;</li> <li>Ability to evaluate processes and drive improvement;</li> <li>Ability to work with cross functional teams, including but not limited to, IT, Sales, Customer Support, Finance; and</li> <li>Experience working in a complex, fast paced organization.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Education:</strong></p> <ul> <li>BA/BS in computer science, statistics, economics, finance or related field or equivalent relevant experience.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Physical Demands and Work Environment:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Sedentary work (i.e. sitting for long periods of time);</li> <li>Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force;</li> <li>Frequently or constantly to lift, carry push, pull or otherwise move objects and repetitive motions;</li> <li>Subject to inside environmental conditions; and</li> <li>Travel for this position will include less than 5%, typically for training purposes.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p><div class="content-conclusion"><p><em>By embracing diversity, equity and inclusion we enhance our work environment and drive business success.
