Director, Human Resources Business Partnering

<p>The Director, Human Resource Business Partnering is responsible for providing HR guidance, direction, and influence in the achievement of business goals and objectives. The position will build and maintain effective working relationships with the business and HR CoEs to drive organizational change and achieve sustained team effectiveness and business success. This position will partner with leaders to create an effective and integrated strategy for advancing the business. Through partnership, he/she will gain deep knowledge of the business, people and organizational needs and is able to diagnose issues and recommend solutions to complex challenges.</p> <p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Partners with the business leaders in one or more departments to support employee relations, workforce planning, training, leave programs, safety, affirmative action and employment equity programs, and personnel research;</li> <li>Supports Human Resources functions and administration involving the maintenance of related records within multiple HR systems;</li> <li>Supports PEO employee management and process PEO payroll for up to 1,200 part time employees;</li> <li>Manages confidential and complex employee relations investigations. Provides support and advice to department leaders on methods and approaches to resolve employee performance issues and support employee development efforts, and engages legal advisors as needed;</li> <li>Administers corporate Human Resources policies, programs, and procedures, and provide HR guidance and occasional training across the organization in support of corporate policies;</li> <li>Supports Human Resources Operations personnel for HRIS entry, weekly reporting, unemployment claims, workers compensation claims filing, incident reporting, new hire and benefits orientation, benefits eligibility management, audits, and leave administration;</li> <li>Participates in the development and updating of Human Resources programs, and procedures to communicate and effectively implement to the organization;</li> <li>Maintains compliance with Company’s policies, procedures and mission statement;</li> <li>Adheres to all confidentiality and HIPAA requirements as outlined within Company’s Policies and Procedures in all ways and at all times with respect to any aspect of the data handled or services rendered in the undertaking of the position;</li> <li>Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the Human Resource group to develop solutions, programs and policies;</li> <li>Other duties as requested and/or determined;</li> <li>Maintain compliance with Inovalon’s policies, procedures and mission statement;</li> <li>Adhere to all confidentiality and HIPAA requirements as outlined within Inovalon’s Operating Policies and Procedures in all ways and at all times with respect to any aspect of the data handled or services rendered in the undertaking of the position; and</li> <li>Fulfill those responsibilities and/or duties that may be reasonably provided by Inovalon for the purpose of achieving operational and financial success of the Employer.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Job Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Minimum 10 years professional experience within a strategic, senior human resources capacity;</li> <li>Prefer experience within venture capital/private equity-backed healthcare/technology/software enterprises;</li> <li>Customer-focused and successful leader with a high level of credibility and collaboration;</li> <li>Strong understanding of change management and process excellence principles; application of these principles to solve complex business problems;</li> <li>Analytically driven; fluent with data-driven analysis and performance metrics including data visualization[s];</li> <li>Experience managing complex talent-related programs associated with mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures;</li> <li>Experience supporting business units with international growth objectives and establishing overseas business operations;</li> <li>Proven track record of high impact contributions to and leadership involvement in organizational and operational transformation programs;</li> <li>Broad business and financial understanding and the ability to apply to human capital implications;</li> <li>Excellent talent and social branding skills – leader and participant of social talent branding activities;</li> <li>Ability to think strategically, synthesize business data and develop innovative and holistic HR solutions that are forward-thinking and growth-oriented;</li> <li>Excellent skills in championing organizational and cultural, and change management initiatives;</li> <li>Resilience to work within a complex organization and find creative solutions;</li> <li>Proven collaboration skills with the ability to gain consensus through personal influence; and</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to invite diverse perspectives, promote an inclusive work environment, and support workforce diversity.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Education:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/experience; and</li> <li>Professional in Human Resources certification, PHR preferred.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Physical Demands and Work Environment:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Sedentary work ( i.e. sitting for long periods of time);</li> <li>Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force;</li> <li>Frequently or constantly to lift, carry push, pull or otherwise move objects and repetitive motions;</li> <li>Subject to inside environmental conditions; and</li> <li>Travel for this position will include less than 10% locally usually for training purposes.</li> </ul> <p>#LI-REMOTE</p><div class="content-conclusion"><p><em>By embracing diversity, equity and inclusion we enhance our work environment and drive business success.
