Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis

LOCATION: Washington, DC
TRAVEL REQUIREMENT: No travel required
<p>The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing ad hoc financial and operational models to support senior management in decision making.&nbsp; The incumbent will analyze key business trends, actual versus plan variances etc. The incumbent will serve as a liaison between the various stake- holding departments as part of the business leadership team. &nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Provide support to assist driving financial transparency across multiple product lines and operations;</li> <li>Support automation and enterprise consolidation of data used&nbsp;in monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reports;</li> <li>Assess quality and integrity of data collected, analysis performed, and reports generated;</li> <li>Design, develop and produce standard monthly, quarterly, and annual performance analytics for internal program monitoring and client reporting;</li> <li>Collaborate with Product and Operations team members to classify, quantify, and/or forecast business metrics &amp; risks by providing reliable, accurate, comparable and timely information;</li> <li>Prepare monthly data reporting packages that includes analysis of key business trends and actual versus plan variances, including comprehensive explanations of differences as well as the impact of business drivers to budget/forecast; and</li> <li>Produce&nbsp;routine and ad hoc financial operational models to support senior management in decision making;</li> <li>Maintain compliance with Inovalon’s policies, procedures and mission statement;</li> <li>Adhere to all confidentiality and HIPAA requirements as outlined within Inovalon’s Operating Policies and Procedures in all ways and at all times with respect to any aspect of the data handled or services rendered in the undertaking of the position; and</li> <li>Fulfill those responsibilities and/or duties that may be reasonably provided by Inovalon for the purpose of achieving operational and financial success of the Employer.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Job Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Minimum 2 progressive years in related field;</li> <li>Experience in Healthcare preferred;</li> <li>Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and general knowledge of Microsoft Suite required;</li> <li>Excellent analytical skills and the ability to understand the Company’s products and processes; and</li> <li>Experience with MS Access and SQL preferred.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><strong>Education:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related quantitative field or equivalent experience required; and</li> <li>Master’s Degree Preferred.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Physical Demands and Work Environment:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Sedentary work (i.e. sitting for long periods of time);</li> <li>Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force;</li> <li>Frequently or constantly to lift, carry push, pull or otherwise move objects and repetitive motions;</li> <li>Subject to inside environmental conditions; and</li> <li>Travel for this position will include less than 5% locally usually for training purposes.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p><div class="content-conclusion"><p><em>By embracing diversity, equity and inclusion we enhance our work environment and drive business success.
