Product Manager

LOCATION: Minneapolis, MN
<p>Product Manager is responsible for managing the Secure Pay/Patient Statements product within the business unit product portfolio. This role is responsible for managing inputs from external and internal stakeholders, product planning, managing platform dependencies, leading cross functional teams for release and go-to-market plans and activities, enhancing and differentiating product within our core markets to best position the products within our markets and the competitive landscape. Interfaces with engineering, operations and sales to develop new products and enhance existing products.</p> <p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Develop business cases to justify investment required to build, partner or buy;</li> <li>Be the trusted thought leader for your product area; being the ‘voice of the market/customer’ within ABILITY and externally with customer interactions and events;</li> <li>Build and maintain roadmap for products and work with cross-functional teams to deliver a unified product plan to the market;</li> <li>Work with Marketing and Sales to define the go-to-market strategy, product positioning, and pricing strategies;</li> <li>Develop, drive and coordinate complex product priorities in a fast-paced environment with intra-team and inter-team dependencies;</li> <li>Develop and implement a company-wide commercialization and launch plan for the products within the product line, working with all departments and the Product PMO to execute;</li> <li>Translate product strategy into requirements and prototypes, and then work with architects, developers and customers to implement these features;</li> <li>Serve as a product evangelist with Marketing, Sales, and the go-to-market organization to confirm the vision, roadmap and best practices are understood; and</li> <li>Analyze and manage to product metrics/KPI’s that inform the success of your products in the market.</li> <li>Maintain compliance with Inovalon’s policies, procedures and mission statement;</li> <li>Adhere to all confidentiality and HIPAA requirements as outlined within Inovalon’s Operating Policies and Procedures in all ways and at all times with respect to any aspect of the data handled or services rendered in the undertaking of the position;</li> <li>Fulfill those responsibilities and/or duties that may be reasonably provided by Inovalon for the purpose of achieving operational and financial success of the Company;</li> <li>Uphold responsibilities relative to the separation of duties for applicable processes and procedures within your job function; and</li> <li>We reserve the right to change this job description from time to time as business needs dictate and will provide notice of such.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Job Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Product Management experience managing platform or integration products;</li> <li>Healthcare information technology experience ideal but not a must.</li> <li>Experience with Pragmatic Marketing or Certified in Pragmatic Marketing;</li> <li>Strong Business Acumen&nbsp;</li> <li>Experience driving Payment and Statement Product solutions (Credit Card, Check, Cash)&nbsp;</li> <li>Knowledge of bookings, revenue, retention tracking</li> <li>Proven to perform strategically and execute operationally;</li> <li>Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams from product concept to reference customers;</li> <li>Proven track record of creating and launching new products;</li> <li>Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Agile development methodologies;</li> <li>SaaS or cloud software experience;</li> <li>Proficient in Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint;</li> <li>Self-motivated with strong organizational/prioritization skills and ability to multi-task with close attention to detail;</li> <li>Excellent written and oral presentation skills; and</li> <li>Ability to work in a fast- paced environment.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Education:</strong></p> <ul> <li>BA/BS Degree.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Physical Demands and Work Environment:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Sedentary work (i.e., sitting for long periods of time);</li> <li>Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force;</li> <li>Frequently or constantly to lift, carry push, pull or otherwise move objects and repetitive motions;</li> <li>Subject to inside environmental conditions; and</li> <li>Travel for this position will include less than 10% locally usually for training purposes.</li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion"><p><em>By embracing diversity, equity and inclusion we enhance our work environment and drive business success.
