Market Development Representative

TRAVEL REQUIREMENT: No travel required
<p>The Market Development Representative (MDR) is responsible for prospecting, qualifying and generating new sales leads to support the Sales Team.&nbsp; This individual will be a highly motivated, self-starter with a strong sales dynamic, able to identify and develop new business prospects from multiple sources, including inbound marketing leads and prospect lists.</p> <p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Initiate outbound prospecting, qualifying, and contact verification for ABILITY services;</li> <li>Develop new business via telephone and mass communication such as email to introduce ABILITY services to prospect and existing customers;</li> <li>Identify appropriate buyers within the target market;</li> <li>Provide feedback to help identify prospects’ pain points to help determine how the ABILITY solution will speak to those needs;</li> <li>Build and cultivate prospect relationships by initiating communications and follow-up communications;</li> <li>Work with the Director of Marketing and Director of Digital Marketing to develop and grow the sales pipeline;</li> <li>Use Customer Centric™ sales techniques, process, and pipeline milestones to manage sales;</li> <li>Utilize for contact management, opportunity tracking, sales pipeline management;</li> <li>Other duties as requested and/or determined;</li> <li>Maintain compliance with Inovalon’s policies, procedures and mission statement;</li> <li>Adhere to all confidentiality and HIPAA requirements as outlined within Inovalon’s Operating Policies and Procedures in all ways and at all times with respect to any aspect of the data handled or services rendered in the undertaking of the position;</li> <li>Fulfill those responsibilities and/or duties that may be reasonably provided by Inovalon for the purpose of achieving operational and financial success of the Company; and</li> <li>Uphold responsibilities relative to the separation of duties for applicable processes and procedures within your job function.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Job Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Minimum of 1 year of successful sales and marketing experience;</li> <li>Technology products and or healthcare experience is a plus;</li> <li>Working knowledge of sales force automation or similar contact management systems is a plus;</li> <li>Proficiency with MS Office suite and other software applications;</li> <li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills;</li> <li>Strong presentation skills both over the phone and potentially onsite at tradeshows;</li> <li>Good analytical skills;</li> <li>Ability to set and manage multiple priorities;</li> <li>Excellent time management skills;</li> <li>Self-motivated with strong organizational/prioritization skills; and</li> <li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Education:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree is required.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Physical Demands and Work Environment:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Sedentary work (i.e., sitting for long periods of time);</li> <li>Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force;</li> <li>Frequently or constantly to lift, carry push, pull or otherwise move objects and repetitive motions;</li> <li>Subject to inside environmental conditions; and</li> <li>Travel for this position will include less than 5% locally usually for training purposes.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p><div class="content-conclusion"><p><em>By embracing diversity, equity and inclusion we enhance our work environment and drive business success.
