Black Book Research provides healthcare professionals with comprehensive comparison data of the industry’s top respected and competitively performing technology vendors.

The Black Book managed care and health plan IT surveys are published annually to evaluate healthcare/medical software and service providers across 18 operational excellence key performance indicators from the client’s perspective and experience.

The 2024 Black Book rankings survey spanned from Q3 2023 to Q2 2024 and included 179 vendors utilized by 7,761 validated IT users nationwide. With over 900 health insurance companies operating across the United States, these organizations provide 64% of private and 35% of public healthcare through their plans. Over 19% of all U.S. health insurers participated in the 2024 Black Book managed care and health plan IT surveys.
