“For nearly 30 years, Elderplan has been at the forefront of offering a wide range of innovative health plans that are designed to deliver positive health outcomes and member satisfaction,” said  Vincent Marchello, MD, Chief Medical Officer of Elderplan. “We selected Inovalon and their industry-leading solutions to help enhance our existing quality initiatives through predictive analytics and insight, as well as to improve member care coordination and health outcomes.”Elderplan is a participant in New York State’s Duals Demonstration Project: Fully Integrated Dual Advantage or, “FIDA”, offering new managed care plans for certain “dual eligibles” – people who have both Medicare and Medicaid. New York State is one of 15 states to receive a multi-year federal grant to develop a demonstration program to coordinate care for “dual eligibles.” The program will include a focus on providing technology and care support to Elderplan’s FIDA membership in preparation for the upcoming New York demonstration program.
