CD19-directed autologous chimeric Antigen Receptor (CAR) T-cell immunotherapy offers a treatment option to the elderly with relapsed/refractory diffuse large B-cell lymphoma who are not candidates for platinum-based chemotherapy followed by high dose therapy/autologous stem cell transplant.  A retrospective observational administrative claims database study (2016-2020) assessed survival and cost outcomes in 100% Medicare Fee-For-Service beneficiaries.  Patients aged ≥75 compared with 65-69 and 70-74 years of age had lower rates of event-free survival, while 90-day followup costs across age groupings were similar.
