Management of bronchiectasis relies on treatment of exacerbations. A retrospective observational administrative claims database study (2014-2020) assessed treatment patterns in Medicare Fee-For-Service patients diagnosed with bronchiectasis. Higher rates of exacerbations were associated with greater antibiotics therapy along with other commonly prescribed medications such as oral corticosteroids, macrolides, and quinolones.
