Jill Schinkel

Senior Manager, Research Science and Advanced Analytics

Jill guides the design and implementation of HEOR, performance improvement, and program evaluation studies that drive opportunity identification and value creation for clients, including biopharmaceutical companies, health plans, provider networks, and patient advocacy groups.

Prior to joining Inovalon, Jill served as the director of analytics for specialty benefits with UnitedHealthcare, where she guided the development and deployment of claims-based analytical frameworks that supported health plan reporting and provider performance improvement initiatives across the enterprise. Jill has also held quantitative research appointments at America’s Health Insurance Plans and the Henry Jackson Foundation, supporting health services and clinical research studies that focused on identifying key drivers of commercial insurance trends, understanding variation in cost and utilization by site of service, and exploring the relationship between race and ethnicity and cancer treatment patterns and survivorship in Department of Defense beneficiaries.

Jill earned an MS in epidemiology and biostatistics from George Mason University and a BS in physics from Longwood University with a minor in mathematics.
